Event Terms

When you register online for the 2017 National Senior Health & Fitness Day®, you and your organization agree to these terms:

The National Senior Health & Fitness Day® name and logo are federal trademarks, and may only be used by your organization for one local event. If you plan to have events at more than one location, you must register each location separately. The National Senior Health & Fitness Day® event name and logo trademarks may not be used by any other organization or company — only by the organization you have listed with your 2017 event registration.

You may use the event name and logo for your news releases, informational handouts, posters, etc., but not for any promotional products and items. Only official event promotional items available through the Senior Health & Fitness Day® Store — T-shirts, pens, balloons, etc. — may feature the National Senior Health & Fitness Day name and logo. Unauthorized use of the National Senior Health & Fitness Day® name and logo for your own event promotional products is a violation of federal trademark law and may result in potential legal action.

You and your organization agree that your local event will be non-competitive in nature and emphasize older adult health and fitness. You and your organization further agree that the Mature Market Resource Center, organizer of National Senior Health & Fitness Day, and the 2017 national and state event sponsors are to be held harmless for any claims, liabilities, injuries, disabilities and/or illness which may result from individual participation at your local event.

Your event registration fee only applies to the 2017 National Senior Health & Fitness Day event. If you wish to participate in future events, you must register every year.

You agree to share any videos, photos, and/or news articles with us about your local event. You further agree that local media coverage may be used for future event promotional purposes. In addition, you agree to complete our survey that will be used to help plan next year’s event.

You agree to distribute at your event any materials, samples or other information we send you from our national or state event sponsors. We will notify you in advance if we are sending you any sponsor materials, and you will distribute or hand these out at your event as long as they do not conflict with any of your organization's policies. You further agree that our national and state sponsors may attend and participate in activities if you are notified in advance of their interest.

Finally, the Mature Market Resource Center, organizer of National Senior Health & Fitness Day, reserves the right to refuse any event registration by organizations that are competitors with one of our national or state event sponsors. Event registrations may also be denied to organizations that, in the sole opinion of the Mature Market Resource Center, are not directly involved in promoting older adult health and wellness in their local communities.

If you do not agree to our 2017 National Senior Health & Fitness Day event terms, you and your organization may not participate in this year’s event.
